Freespeak Media NY Times article
Today Freespeak Media and Executive Producer: Jerah Plucker were quoted in the NY Times concerning the 1st day of the National Republican Convention. Jerah Plucker, Kari Koehler and Maria Anderson were rounded up along side approximately 500 onlookers and activists by the St. Paul Police on September 1st while capturing a demonstration below the Wabasha bridge. After being detained for four hours and told they were being arrested the police recognized our crew as press and they were thankfully released.
